UPL side Gaddafi confirms change of Name

Newly promoted Uganda Promoted Uganda Premier League side Gaddafi FC have confirmed the change of name to Entebbe UPPC FC.

They used their official social media platforms to confirm their change of name,

“We are pleased to announce that FUFA has officially approved our request to change the club’s name from Gaddafi FC to Entebbe UPPC FC.”

“This marks a new chapter in our journey as we proudly represent Entebbe and the UPPC FC in all competions.”

The club that hosted their FUFA Big League games at Entebbe Works grounds now shift to Bugonga Fisheries grounds the same venue used by Buganda Regional League side Entebbe FC.

Entebbe UPPC FC previously confirmed the appointment of Abudallah Mubiru as their new head coach.

Stephen Munguchi, Hassan Ssenyonjo and Mustafa Mujuzi are the three players who were officially unveiled by the Printers.

To earn a promotion back to the Uganda Premier League, they finished second on the table with 50 points two behind FUFA Big League winners Calvary FC.
