Double winning champions Vipers SC will play three friendly matches in preparations for their busy 2025/26 campaign.

The Venoms will play a double-header against Rwanda’s Gorilla FC, scheduled for Tuesday (August 19th) and Thursday (August 21st) next week at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The two friendly matches will be the first games that the seven time league champions will be playing under Belgian coach Ivan Jacky Minnaert.

After their encounters with Gorilla FC, the Venoms will travel to Rwanda for a challenging clash against Tanzanian giants Azam FC on August 29th at the Kigali Pele Stadium.

The Venoms will then embark on the CECAFA Kagame Cup campaign in Dar es Salaam from September 2nd to 15th.

Vipers are gearing up for a busy schedule where they will feature in the Uganda Premier League, Uganda Cup, Super Cup, CECAFA Kagame Cup, and the CAF Champions League.

They have already beefed up their squad with the acquisition of Mark Yallah, Kevin Dasylva Bady, Odili Chukwuma, Enock Ssebagala, and Taddeo Lwanga.
