Sempigi lands coaching job at FUFA Big League side

FUFA Big league side Kigezi Homeboyz has appointed Sadiq Sempigi as their head coach for the forthcoming 2025/26 season.

Sempigi currently serves as assistant coach at Bugerere Ssaza has been appointed at Kigezi Homeboyz on a one year employment contract.

Sempigi has previously worked at Mbarara City, Onduparaka FC, Jinja North FC, Arua Hills and Lugazi FC.

In April this year, Kigezi Home Boyz sacked Scottish national Stephen Pritchard who was serving as their head coach.Pritchard had replaced Denis Tushabe.

Following the departure of Pritchard, Kigezi Homeboyz appointed Aggrey Madoi as interim coach until the end of last season.

Last campaign, Kigezi Homeboyz finished a place above relegation on the FUFA Big league table with 33 points.
