“It is a dream come true” Alpha Ssali on joining KCCA FC

KCCA FC have completed the signing of forward Alpha Ssali from fellow Uganda Premier League side NEC FC.

As earlier reported by this website, Ssali has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions.

“It is a dream come true to join KCCA FC, a club with such an incredible history and one that my family has a huge attachment to. I feel a special connection here, and I am ready to compete with my mates and help the team win.”

Ssali is a son to musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool and grandson to ‘Mister’ Jaberi Bidandi Ssali, a respected figure and one of the founding members of KCCA FC in 1963. Bidandi served as KCCA FC head coach and team manager from the late 1960s to the late 1970s.

Ssali, a former U20 national team player who proudly represented Uganda at two AFCON U20 finals in 2021 and 2023. He also previously featured for Express FC.

Ssali joins other new recruits at KCCA FC who are Herbert Achayi, Enock Walusimbi, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Rogers Mugisha, Lazaro Muhindo Bwambale and returning Charles Lukwago.
