After taking over the reigns at new Uganda premier league entrants Kitara FC, head coach Brian Senyondo has confirmed his first signing.
Free agent Frank Zaga Tumwesigye has put pen to paper on a 12 months contract and he is expected to be the first of the many in the rebuilding process for the Royals as they embark on a journey to fight for topflight status.
Zaga an experienced midfielder was released by Vipers last month and he expects to revitalize his career which promised a lot after being handed an opportunity by Senyondo.
” This is a special place for me, Hoima is home and I already feel welcome here. I will give my very best performance for sure and help my new team win games and also stay in the top flight.”
He said as quoted by the Club’s official website.
Kitara have already offloaded 16 players that were deemed surplus to requirements including Godfrey Lwesibawa, Farouk Katongole, Michael Kagiri, John Wesley Kisakye, Zakayo Kizito among others.
At Kitara , Zaga will reunite with former Vipers teammate Paul Mucurezi.
