Versatile defender Fatumah Nakasumba is set to complete her return to Asubo Ladies FC, Swift Sports understands.
Nakasumba who is currently a free agent, is in advanced talks with the newly promoted Women Super League side.
Nakasumba previously featured for Asubo Ladies in the 2022/23 season before she left the club to join Wakiso Hill in July 2023.
She is known for her versatility and can ably play across the defense but also has a knack of scoring free kicks.
Nakasumba last featured for Waling Municipality in the Nepal Women’s League last year before returning to Uganda.
She has also previously played for Kampala Queens, Uganda Martyrs, Lady Doves and Makerere University among others.
Asubo Ladies earned promotion back to the topflight last season but lost the Women Elite League final to St. Noa 1-0 at Kabaka Kyabaggu.
