Striker Fazil Tumwine ‘Chopra’ joined new league entrants Entebbe UPPC FC from Vipers SC, Swift Sports understands.
Tumwine spent the closing half of the previous season on loan at Wakiso Giants who were eventually relegated at the end of the campaign.
Tumwine was promoted to the Vipers senior team in 2024 following his impressive exploits with the St. Mary’s Kitende school team.
He however found playing time hard to come his way and ultimately got a loan stint at Wakiso Giants last season.
He is expected to lead UPPC’s search for goals in the upcoming season that is expected to kick off next week on Friday 26th September.
Entebbe UPPC have been one of the busiest clubs in the recently concluded transfer window having appointed Abdallah Mubiru and Livingstone Mbabazi as their new head and assistant coaches respectively.
Other new signings at the clubs notably include; Julius Poloto, Denis Otim, Isa Mubiru, John Alou Kokas, Issa Bugembe, Nordin Bunjo, Hassan Ssenyonjo and Musitafa Mujuzi.
Rogers Omedwa, Jonathan Gift Odongo, Muhammad Kyeyune, Ambrose Kigozi, Emmanuel Iisat and Steven Munguchi are others.
