Six KCCA FC players to miss Kitara contest

Brian Ssenyondo will be under the spotlight when his KCCA FC side visits his former payments Kitara FC on Friday, 26th September at Butema Royal Park.

KCCA FC who suffered a 4-0 defeat in their previous league visit to Kitara FC last season.

The Kasasiro Boys will be without six first team players who didn’t travel to Hoima who are Etienne Katenga, Joao Gabriel, Yan Gatbel, Anthony Emojong and former Kitara FC players in Umar Lutalo and Lazaro Muhindo.

The six players are not part of the squad that travelled to Kitara FC for the mouthwatering contest on Friday.

However, new signings Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Charles Lukwago, Herbert Achayi, Alpha Ssali and Enoch Walusimbi are expected to make their league debuts for the 13-time Ugandan champions.

Ssenyondo who was relieved off his duties at Kitara FC in October last year will be aiming at guiding KCCA FC to their first league title since 2018/19.

The 2025/26 UPL will be played under the newly introduced format of three rounds.
