Newly promoted Entebbe UPPC FC will host Lugazi FC on Wednesday 1st-October at Bugonga Fisheries grounds in match day two of the UPL.

Entebbe UPPC FC lost their league opener 1-0 to debutants Buhimba Saints United FC at the same venue.

On the other hand, Lugazi FC humbled debutants Calvary FC 3-1 at Lugazi FC courtesy of Paul Wasswa, Ashiraf Mulindi and Yusuf Ssaka.

This fixture comes a few hours after Entebbe UPPC FC officially confirmed the arrival of midfielder Sam Kintu Tiyo and defender Joseph Bright Vuni.

Vuni joined the Entebbe based side on a short loan contract from URA FC.

Lugazi FC’s Ssaka believes they have an upper hand banking on the motivation from their league opening day victory.

“All players in the camp are highly motivated. This comes from our league opener victory. We respect our opponents, but we are to fight for the three points in this encounter,”

Stephen Bogere’s side will miss the services of Alvin Birungi who is under rehabilitation and Adam Mutesasira nursing an ankle injury.

Another game of the day will see BUL FC hosting Maroons FC at the FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

BUL FC played to a goalless draw in their first game while this will be Maroons’ first game of the season.
