Kitara FC have confirmed the return of Deo Kasozi as the club President for the next three years.
Kasozi who had opted out as the club President in June this year officially made a grand return on Friday, 3rd October at a press briefing held at Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.
When he left his role as club President, Kasozi was appointed as Kitara’s Chief Community Mobilizer.
“I thank the club executive for giving me the opportunity to once again serve as club president. I returned to make sure the club have a smooth transition as well as driving through club forward.” Said Kasozi
It should be noted that Kasozi first assumed leadership during the time when the club had suffered relegation in the 2021/22 season and built a workforce that saw it gain promotion in 2023/24 season.
Before assuming the biggest office at the club, he had earlier on served as the vice president in charge of finance.
He assembled a strong squad and handed it to experienced tactician Sam Ssimbwa who steered the club back to the topflight.
