Ssingo, Bugerere and Buweekula storm Masaza Cup Semis

The 2025 Buganda Kingdom Masaza Cup Quarterfinals climaxed on Sunday with the return leg fixtures.

Ssingo, Buweekula, Bugerere and Kyaggwe are the four semifinalists for this year.

Buweekula, Ssingo and Bugerere advanced to the last four following their triumps on aggregate.

In Mityana, Ssingo previous winners in 2015 and 2018 eliminated three times champions Mawokota 1-0 on aggregate.

After a goalless stalemate in Buwama, the two sides renewed their rivalry at Ssaza Ground with Shaban Kayondo late strike sending.

In Mubende, Buweekula drew 1-1 with Busujju to prevail to the last four 2-1 on aggregate following their 1-0 at Kakindu last week.

At Mubende PTC Ground, Alex Taremwa struck for Buweekula before Lauben Lubwama levelled matters for Busujju.

Bugerere also reached the semis after eliminating 2011 Masaza Cup winners Buluuli 3-2 on aggregate.

Isaac Ruguruka Musuga netted for Bugerere while Patrick Odie struck for Buluuli during their return leg fixture.

In the semis, Buweekula will battle with Kyaggee who eliminated Ssese while Ssingo will lock horns with Bugerere.
