FUFA Big League entity Kaaro Karungi Football Club has appointed Bastu Ssemuyaba as their head coach for the 2025/26 season.
Ssemuyaba is currently on course of guiding Ssingo Ssaza to their first ever Buganda Masaza final since 2018 following their 2-1 semi-final first leg advantage over Bugerere Ssaza team.
Ssemuyaba is a CAF B licensed coach and comes at the Ntungamo based side with vast amounts of experience having served in the FUFA Big League and Uganda Premier League before.
He has previously served as head coach at Kiyinda Boys FC, first assistant at NEC FC in the FUFA Big League and as well as Hussein Mbalangu’s assistant in the Uganda Premier League.
He was also assistant coach to Charles Livingstone Mbabazi at Mbarara City and also worked as head coach for Buganda province team in 2024.
Kaaro Karungi first two FUFA Big league games have all ended in 1-all draws against Kigezi HomeBoyz and Soltilo Bright Stars.
