Swaleh Kamya has confirmed his departure from Women Super League side Asubo Ladies FC.
Kamya, through his X account says it is painful that he is saying goodbye to Asubo Ladies FC.
” It’s with deep pain that I say my goodbyes to team Asubo Ladies FC. After the Rines SS game, I couldn’t continue forcing it.” Kamya says.
” I wish the team the best of luck. To the friends I made while there, please forgive me, there was nothing more I could do. Thanks for the memories.” He adds.
Kamya played an integral role as Asubo Ladies earned promotion to the Women Super League from the Elite League last season.
He is also remembered for guiding Wakiso Hill to promotion to the topflight during the 2022/23 season.
Asubo Ladies are at the bottom of the table with only one point after three games played.
Asubo Ladies will host Kampala Queens in their subsequent match on Sunday at Kampala Quality.
