FTB Women Super League: Kawempe Muslim Ladies, She Corporate, Kampala Queens register wins on Match-Day five

Match-Day Five of the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League climaxed over the weekend with Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, Kampala Queens, She Corporate, Uganda Martyrs H/S WFC all registering wins.

Kawempe Muslim needed a brace from their skipper Agnes Nabukenya to overcome She Maroons FC 2-0 at Kawempe Muslim SS Ground.

Nabukenya netted a penalty in the 21st minute before doubling the lead at the stroke of halftime with a sensational free kick strike.

Victory saw Kawempe extend their winning streak to four games.

She Corporate continued with their remarkable start to the 2025/26 season with a 2-1 comeback win over Lady Doves FC at Katusabe Ground.

Resty Kobusobozi had given the home side the lead before Leticia Nakyeyune levelled matters for the visitors.

Jesca Namanda struck the winner for She Corporate who maintained their winning streak to now four games.

Reigning champions Kamapala Queens FC returned to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Olila H/S WFC at MTN Omondi Stadium.

Kamiyati Naigaga, Catherine Nagadya, Zaitun Namaganda and Joanita Ainembabazi [ who scored a brace] did the damage.

Elsewhere, Asubo Ladies FC got a crucial point away to Amus College WFC in a goalless draw at Amus College Stadium. This marks a notable improvement for Asubo Ladies, following up last week’s point against the defending champions.

Rines SS WFC and St Noa Girls-Zana settled for a 1-1 draw at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium. Patricia Nanyanzi’s penalty goal cancelled out Esther Babirye’s early strike. The result leaves Rines still searching for their first win of the season.
