Vipers on the other hand are 13th on the table with three points from one game, with four matches in hand.

The Venoms needed Abdul Karim Watambala’s second half strike to leave their Entebbe road neighbours Entebbe UPPC crestfallen at the sound of the final whistle.

KCCA overcame newcomers Calvary FC 4-2 in their previous game last week at Lugogo. Nevertheless, co-head coach Jackson Magera and co have major repairs to undertake defensively.

Ahead of the trip to Kitende Magera emphasized the need for his charges to rise to the occasion.

“We have to have self-belief that we can play and get a result against them at their home. We have prepared well tactically and mentally. We need to play with responsibility, reduce mistakes, and take our chances in this fixture.” Said Magera
