FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels have confirmed the departure of their head coach Godfrey Wasswa.
Wasswa leaves the Blacks a day after the team suffering a 1-0 defeat to Wakiso Giants at Nakivubo.
The development was confirmed by the club through their official social media platforms,
“The management of Paidha Black Angels Sports Club (PBASC) wishes to inform our esteemed fans, partners and the general public that the club has parted ways with Mr.Wasswa Godfrey who has been serving as the head coach PBASC.”
“The decision follows a comprehesive performance review conducted after the opening fixtures of the FUFA Big League 2025/26 season while we sincerely appreciate Mr.Waswa’s dedication, time and effort during his tenure the club has deemed it necessary to take a new direction in pursuit to improved performance and competitiveness.”
Assistant head coach takes over on interim basis as the search for a new head coach is going on.
Wasswa leaves Paidha Black Angels in the relegation zone 14th on the table with six points collected from six games.
