Gasogi United 1-0 Kiyovu Sports Club
Former SC Villa striker Faizo Kazibwe scored the all important goal as Gasogi United beat Kiyovu Sports Club 1-0 in round 8 of the Rwanda Premier League at the Amahoro Stadium.
Kazibwe got his first goal of the season which also turned out to be the difference in the added four minutes of the first half.
For starters, Kazibwe previously played for SC Villa during the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season.
He left Villa to join Tooro United in the 2021 season before joining Gadaffi FC (Entebbe UPPC FC) in the FUFA Big League last season.
Kazibwe’s lone goal took extended Gasogi United’s impressive start to the new season.
Gasogi are currently second on the Rwanda Premier League table with 15 points, two behind leaders Police FC who have played a game less.
Gasogi United will return to action on Saturday 29th November with an away duel against Amagaju FC.
