URA FC began life without Alex Isabirye in emphatic fashion with a 7-3 thrashing of Buhimba United Saints on Wednesday at Nakivubo.
Isabirye who part ways with the tax collectors was replaced by interim coach Edward Golola as they continue the search for a new head coach.
URA went into the halftime break leading 3-0 thanks to goals from Joseph Ssemujju, Nelson Senkatuka and Denis Kisiriko.
Martin Opolot, Edson Agondeze and Charles Kyomuhendo scored the three goals for Buhimba.
Ssemujju gave the four time league champions the lead at the half-hour mark before Senkatuka made it 2-0 with a sensational free kick.
Kisiriko extended the revenue collectors lead at the stroke of halftime.
Second half substitute Fred Amaku who replaced Laban Tibita in the 51st minute netted a hat-trick.
He opened his account in the 68th minute before adding the second and third in the 74th and 83rd minute respectively.
Kabon Living who came on for Denis Kisiriko scored the seventh goal for Golola’s men.
With the biggest win of the campaign so far this season, URA are now fifth with 11 points while Buhimba languishes in the 12th place with 9 points.
