Clubs to observe moment of silence in tribute of the late Kajoba

The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has confirmed there will be a moment of silence at all the UPL games in memory of the fallen former Uganda Cranes goalkeepers coach Fred Kajoba.

Kajoba was confirmed dead on Monday 13th-May in Tanzania where he was working as a goalkeepers coach at Ihefu FC,

“Uganda Premier League are deeply saddened by the passing of coach Fred Kajoba Kisitu occurred on Monday 13th May-2024.”

“The late coached clubs including Simba FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Vipers SC and was the former Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach.”

“Accordingly ladies and gentlemen we shall observe a moment of silence at all the SUPL matches tomorrow Tuesday 14th-May-2024 until his body is laid to rest in memory of the late Fred Kajoba Kisitu.”

Kajoba was part of the technical team that led back Uganda Cranes to AFCON after 38 years in 2017.
