34 teams will take part in the 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup in Buganda region.
This was confirmed after the draws were held for the preliminary rounds at Royal Monarchy Hotel in Mengo
16 teams are taking part in the Buganda Regional League 2025/26 season and their participation is mandatory.
The 18 are teams participating in the Buganda Region fourth and fifth divisions.
Buganda Regional League holders Super Eagles Lugongwe will face off with Nyendo FC while Manyangwa FC will host Kiboga Central FC.
Buwambo United FC hosts Young Simba FC while Seeta United who made it to the round of 64 of last season, will play Simba FC at Gayaza Namulonge grounds.
Masaka City FC hosts Namataba United FC and Lugazi Nabugabo visits Uganda Sports Arena.
The first preliminary round is tentively expected to be played over this weekend.
Out of the 34 teams, four from Buganda Region will qualify to the round 64.
