Tonny Mawejje has resigned at Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League side St. Noa Girls FC.
Mawejje confirmed the development in a statement to the club president dated 2nd December 2025.
“Dear Sir, Please accept this letter as formal notice of my resignation from my position as the Head coach of St. Noa GFC. I appreciate the opportunity I have had while working at St.Noa GFC for a short stint and I feel it’s in the best interest of the team and the whole project of St. Noa GFC for me to step aside. This comes after a careful consideration of my career goals and the entire St. Noa GFC project ambitions. Thank you for your understanding and I wish St. Noa GFC a continued success, I hope our paths cross again in the future.”
Mawejje replaced Jimmy Kintu Mwera who left the club to join Uganda Premier League side Calvary FC earlier this season.
He managed nine games at St.Noa, winning three, drawing four and lost twice. He leaves the side in fourth position with 13 points.
Mawejje has previously coached at Kampala Queens in the Women Super League as an assistant coach in the 2023/24 season.
The former Uganda Cranes midfielder retired from active football at the end of the 2021/22 season and subsequently embarked on pursuing a coaching career.
