Seven-Day International Table Tennis coaching and umpiring course climaxes

The seven days International Table Tennis (ITTF) coaching and umpiring officially closed on Tuesday 16th December at Elite High School in Entebbe.

Patrick Alfred Okanya the head of capacity building at USSSA was grateful with the opportunity,

“As USSSA we are proud of the opportunity and we shall be looking forward to it’s fruits to the participants thank you for taking part.”

Romain Fermon the ISF Academy Director who was one of the facilitators appreciated USSSA for the collaboration,

“Uganda is blessed since it’s the first country in the World to have such a course we shall always be looking forward towards the development of this collaboration.”

Chief guest Sammy Odong the assistant commissioner Physical Education and Sports urged the participants to put in use what they have learnt,

“It’s a milestone and will do us a great job for the schools dear participants make sure we grow this sport always remembering sport is about passion and always mind about the values we need all sports at all levels.”

All the 30 participants that took part were awarded with International certificates.
