The Buganda Kingdom has confirmed the key dates for this year’s Bika Games with the launch slated for 23rd April, 2026.
Following the launch the tournament will then kickoff on 2nd May, 2026 and climax on the 6th June.
Ngabi Nsamba are the reigning Bika football champions after retaining the Shield last year at Muteesa II Stadium.
The triumphant clan overcame Ndiga 6-5 after tense and dramatic post-match penalties after a 2-all draw in normal time.
Ngabi Nsamba has won six titles following earlier victories in 1951, 1987, 2007, 2013, 2024 and lately 2025.
Meanwhile, Nnyonnyi Nnyange defeated Mamba Namakaka Namakaka 32-27 to clinch the 2025 netball championship.
