FUFA Big League side Kigezi HomeBoyz have officially confirmed the signing of winger Mike Walaga as their second signing.
Walaga joins Sadick Ssempigi’s coached side from relegation threatened UPL side Mbarara City FC and has signed an employment contract of two years.
He is a former player of Buganda Regional League sides Buwambo United FC and Kajjansi United.
In the Masaza Cup he played for Bulemeezi, Buluuli and won the championship with Buddu. Walaga will fondly be remembered for the goal he scored for Buddu in the 2024 Masaza Cup final against Kyaggwe in Namboole that clinched the championship.

Dominic Abong was the first signing to be officially unveiled by Kigezi HomeBoyz in the ongoing transfer window.
Kigezi HomeBoyz currently occupies the second position on the FUFA Big League table with 25 points from the 15 games.
They will be playing Nabugabo United FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Tuesday 10th-Feb in Lugazi.
