The feeling in the dressing room at KCCA FC is that co-coaches Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera are on borrowed time’ with Sam Ssimbwa waiting in the wings, according to reports.
KCCA FC lost 3-1 to their tenants NEC FC on Friday with goals from Richard Basangwa and Joseph Sserembe giving Badru Kaddu’s side the win.
Basangwa who was handed his NEC debut scored twice with Sserembe adding the other for Kaddu’s men. Ivan Ahimbisibwe netted KCCA’s goal.
It was the second Uganda Premier League match in a row that the Kasasiro Boys have lost at Lugogo with the other coming against Abdallah Mubiru’s Entebbe UPPC at the climax of the first round.
Sources reveal that KCCA FC players reckon that Ssenyondo and Magera are on borrowed time’ after results so far this season.
Ssenyondo has however vowed to turn things around at the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions.
“We have to win, you don’t lose a trophy in sixteen games but we have to win. They (players) have to show character, a good attitude, zeal and show they want it (points) more than opponents. It is a very disappointing result for fans and we promise to make it right.” Said Ssenyondo

Ssenyondo’s side has won just once in the last five league games, losing three and two draws. They currently trail table Leaders Vipers SC by seven points.
KCCA is fifth on league table with 30 points, seven behind leaders Vipers and next play BUL at home next week.
