Entebbe UPPC FC have announced the signing of striker Samuel Nsubuga from FUFA Big League side Wakiso Giants.

Nsubuga becomes the first signing made by the Entebbe based outfit in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.

Nsubuga is expected to add depth in the club’s offensive department that has heavily relied on Ambrose Kigozi who has scored nine league goals.

“We have completed the signing of versatile forward Nsubuga Samuel on an initial short-term contract, strengthening the squad’s attacking options as the season enters a decisive phase.” Reads a statement issued by the club.

Nsubuga is a versatile forward who can comfortably play on either flank and effectively as a central striker.

He has had previous stints with Lugazi FC and the now defunct Ndejje University in the FUFA Big League.

Besides Nsubuga, Entebbe UPPC have in the recent days been in advanced stages of signing former Express FC striker Conrad Ssenjogera as well as former SC Villa midfielder Davis Sekajja.

Nsubuga could debut for The Printers in their subsequent game which will be against Kitara FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Tuesday 24th February.
