Buddo SS and St Mary’s Kitende have lost their respective quarter final games of the 2026 Elite championship hosted by Janan Secondary School Bombo in boys football.
St Mary’s Kitende lost 4-1 to Bukedea Comprehensive School in kicks from the penalty mark after the two sides playing to a full-time one all draw.
Elvis Apakrwoth and Deus Niwaha scored for St Mary’s Kitende and Bukedea Comprehensive School in normal play.
Ali Kiyingi was the hero scoring FortPortal SS’ only goal in their 1-0 victory over Buddo SS.
Mentor SS also through out Kyaddondo SS 5-4 in kicks from the spot, the two sides had played to a one all draw.
Joseph Kakooza was the goal scorer for Kyaddondo SS and Emmanuel Epila scored for Mentor SS.
Standard High School Zzana lost to Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga 4-2 in penalties, normal played had ended in a three all draw.
FortPortal SS will now face off with Bukedea Comprehensive School in the semi finals at 10:00am at Standard High grounds .
Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga and Mentor SS will play from Janan SS grounds at the same time.
Later in the day the winners will face off in the final.
