All eyes in the Uganda Premier League as 13th placed Mbarara City host league leaders Vipers SC in the clash that could have major implications for both ends of the table.
Vipers will open a four-point gap in case they maximize points against the Ankole Lions at Kamwenge following Kitara’s slip against UPDF on Friday.
Mbarara City currently sit 13th on the table with 15 points and havs managed just one win their previous seven league matches.
The Ankole Lions are just three points off the drop zone and will be aiming for points in the bid to overcome the drope.
The red-hot Venoms are undefeated against Mbarara City in the previous eight games winning six and drawn two.
Milton Karisa, Odili Chukwuma and Abdul Karim Watambala will be expected to inspire Vipers to maximum points.
Elsewhere, Entebbe UPPC will be seeking to return to winning ways against URA FC while SC Villa will welcome rivals Express FC in the late kick off game at Kadiba.
