The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has made adjustments in the matchday 23 fixtures.
The UPL Secretariat confirmed the changes on Thursday revealing that they are due to the forthcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier game between Uganda and Zimbabwe slated for 18th April 2026.
“The UPL Secretariat hereby informs you of adjustments to selected Matchday 23 fixtures of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2025/26 season. These changes arise from Official communication from FUFA confirming the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier (Uganda vs Zimbabwe) scheduled for Saturday, 18 April 2026 at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba (4:00 PM), resulting in a venue clash,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, KCCA and NEC raised concerns regarding the feasibility of hosting the initially scheduled double deader at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The fixtures that have been rescheduled include the mouthwatering contest between SC Villa and Vipers SC which will now be played played on Wednesday, 15 April 2026 | 8:00 PM at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
The encounter between KCCA FC vs Kitara FC will is now slated for Friday, 17 April 2026 (8:00 PM) at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo while NEC FC vs Maroons FC will be played on Saturday, 18 April 2026 (8:00 PM) at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
