Express FC cruised to a late 3-1 comeback win over Police under the lights of Nakivubo Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Red Eagles went behind when their former skipper Saidi Kyeyune gave the Cops the lead at the half hour mark after being set up by Charles Bbaale.

The lead however short-lived when Yosia Kisa restored parity for the hosts two minutes later.

Lawrence Tezikya had a brilliant opportunity to restore the Cops lead before halftime but his effort was saved by Express goalkeeper Khassim Hafizi.

The Red Eagles needed two late goals in the closing stages to secure a second 3-1 consecutive win following victory over URA FC before the international break.

Second half substitute Henry Wamala who replaced Amos Muwonge gave the Jimmy Kintu coached side the lead three minutes to regulation time.

Kenneth Kimera who is on loan from Vipers sealed the victory for the seven time league champions moments later.

Express is now 10th on the league table with 26 points while Police who suffered a seventh defeat is sixth on the log with 35 points.
