Three time Masaza Cup champions Buddu have retained Eric Kisuze as their head coach for the 2026 competition despite last year’s poor show.
Kisuze was at the helms during the 2025 championship when Buddu failed to advance past the group stages of the prestigious competition.
He will be assisted by Simon Gitta who was also on Ssingo Ssaza team radar. Jamadah Magasi, a former Mawogola head coach is the other assistant coach at Buddu.
Kisuze is also the head coach at Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi whom he has led to two University Football League titles.
Buddu will be aiming for the title this term having previously won it in 2016, 2021 and most recently in 2024.
Buweekula are the reigning Masaza Cup champions following their triumph over their neighbors Ssingo last term at Nakivubo Stadium.
