Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards are scrambling for Ambrose Kigozi’s signature, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Kigozi had an impressive season with Abdallah Mubiru’s Entebbe UPPC scoring 12 league goals in his debut Topflight campaign.
This website has established that Kenyan side AFC Leopards want to strengthen their forward line and are closely monitoring Kigozi’s situation at Entebbe UPPC.
Kigozi is a former Kiyinda Boys player where he scored 13 goals and made 5 assists during the 2024/25 season.
AFC Leopards is also the home former Express FC, KCCA FC, Wakiso Giants and Bright Stars forward Samuel Ssenyonjo, who joined the Kenyan outfit in September last year.
Goalkeeper James Ssetuba is the other Ugandan at the club. AFC Leopards finished second on the Kenyan Premier League standings with 64 points they garnered in 34 games.
