SC Villa goalkeeper David Lukwago was on Tuesday, 16th June at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo rewarded by Football Classroom for his outstanding performance during the 2025/26 season.

Football Classroom through its members rewarded the Villa custodian for finishing as the goalkeeper with the most cleansheets in the league last term.

Lukwago who kept 15 clean sheets in the league hailed Football Classroom for the recognition.

“I am humbled to have recieved this award from Football Classroom for having awarded me for finishing the 2025/26 league campaign as the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets. I couldn’t have done it without my team SC Villa and I am looking forward for better next season.” Said Lukwago

The event was graced by Football Classroom members led by Anthony Tumwesigye, Chief Executive Officer Becky Cynthia Nakimera, Sharon Adong among others.

For starters, Football Classroom is a platform that has united the football fraternity for several years with football administrators and fans all part of the platform.

At theUganda Premier League awards gala for the 2025/26 season, NEC FC goalkeeper Hannington Sebwalunyo received the golden glove.
Lukwago joined SC Villa at the start of the just concluded season from Kiyinda Boys and has also previously featured for Express FC goalkeeper whom he joined in 2022 from the Red Eagles junior team.
