Winger Joseph Ssemujju has mutually agreed to terminate his employment contract with Uganda Premier League entity URA FC, Swift Sports Uganda Understands.
In July last year, Ssemujju extended his stay at the four time league champions for two more years but this website has established that the winger and the club have decided to end their marriage with a year remaining.
Ssemujju joined the tax collectors in January 2023 from Mbeya City’s Tanzanian side on a two year deal.
Besides URA FC, Ssemujju has previously played for Vipers SC, Express FC, SC Villa and BUL FC all in the Uganda Premier League.
The revenue collectors are under the stewardship of former Express coaches Jimmy Kintu and Christian Magoba.
The club has so far beefed up their squad with two signings in Elvis Ssekajugo from Express FC and Muhammad Kyeyune, who signed last week from Entebbe UPPC
URA also rewarded players Godfrey Ssekibengo, Innocent Kisolo, and Denis Luzige Kisiriko with new employment contracts.
