Former SC Villa head coach Petros Koukouras is currently in Ghana to finalise a move to Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Goldstars, Swift Sports Uganda has learnt.
Rwandan side Mukura Victory Sports were also interested in the Greekman’s signature but this website has established that he is close to sealing a move Ghana entity Bibiani Goldstars.
He is set to be appointed on a two year employment contract replacing Frimpong Manso who led the side to the Ghana Premier League title in 2024/25 season.
The former SC Villa coach, has also been serving as the FUFA Development Expert.
Petros is a UEFA A Coaching Licence holder and is a Sports Science specialist. Besides Villa, he has previously served at Rwanda’s Kiyovu.
Bibiani GoldStars SC, formerly the Complex Stars and often shortened to and more commonly known as the Gold Stars, is a Ghanaian professional football team based in the Western North Region. It was founded in 1998 and later given to the Bibiani Gold Mines. They achieved promotion to the Ghana Premier League in 2021 and won their maiden Ghana Premier League title in June 2025.
