Lugazi FC have announced the signing of right back Frank Mulimi on a two year contract.
Mulimi joins Lugazi as a free agent after being released by Uganda Premier League record winners SC Villa.
“I am pleased with this move,” Mulimi said via Lugazi FC official website.
“For me, I am impressed with the project here and I love the organisation at this club. I have come to work harder and harder because I believe that’s the only way this team can get better results.” he added.
Mulimi previously played for Gaddafi FC, a side he played for five years and guided to a double promotion to the Big League and the Uganda Premier League in 2019 and 2024 respectively.
Mulimi who can ably play as a right back and a winger, played 10 games and scored one goal for Villa last season.
He also played for Jinja Progressive (JIPRA) and Uganda Parents at Schools Football level.
He becomes the club’s fourth signing after Louis Anguti Amagu, Jamaldin Buchochera and attacking midfielder Christopher Birungi.
