SC Volcanoes Partner with Mutolere Parish and St. Paul’s Mutolere to Upgrade Mashaka into Mutolere S.S. Stadium

SC Volcanoes have partnered with Mutolere Parish in Mutolere Deanery under Kabale Diocese and St. Paul’s Mutolere Secondary School in a landmark initiative to rename and rehabilitate Mashaka Playgrounds as St. Paul’s Mutolere S.S. Stadium.
The development comes as the Kisoro based club intensifies preparations for its highly anticipated FUFA Big League campaign following its promotion from the Western Regional League to Uganda’s second tier of national football.
The ongoing rehabilitation has already seen sections of the playing surface leveled, while fencing and the construction of dressing rooms are also underway. The improvements are intended to give the facility a major facelift and create a more suitable environment for players, coaches, supporters and visiting teams.
According to the club management, the collaboration is aimed at ensuring that the home venue is improved and organized to meet the demands of Big League football while also strengthening the relationship between SC Volcanoes, Mutolere Parish and St. Paul’s Mutolere Secondary School.
The transformation of the facility comes at a crucial moment for football in Kisoro and the wider Kigezi sub region, SC Volcanoes’ promotion to the FUFA Big League has generated renewed attention toward football development in the area, with the rehabilitation of their home ground adding another important chapter to the club’s preparations.
