Wakiso Boxers Flagged Off To Jinja For Inter City Fight Night

Wakiso based boxers have been flagged off to Jinja ahead of the Inter City Fight Night due on Saturday, 26th September 2026 at Crested Crane in Jinja.
The fight night between Jinja and Wakiso District is proudly organised by Friends of Boxing (FOB) and this will be the second Inter City fight staged by the non-profit organisation.
Wakiso based Stanley Mugerwa who will be battling with Amos Kelly has promised fireworks on Saturday.
“I am well prepared for the fight in Jinja and I promise my fans, coaches and residents of Wakiso explosion on the day. They should expect victory since I have trained well thanks to Friends of Boxing who have ensured that I get the best training ahead of the fight in Jinja, I can only say that I am set to roar,” Mugerwa said.
The inaugural Inter-City fight night was won by Kampala after overcoming Gulu with six wins to four in July this year. Wakiso or Jinja will be aiming to walk the talk when both sets of boxers battle for supremacy in Jinja.
