Bobosi Byaruhanga scored the all important goal as Vipers SC ended Soltilo Bright Stars 11 match unbeaten run with a 1-0 victory on Friday at Kavumba Stadium.
The midfielder gave the visitors the lead in added time of the first period moments after their talisman Yunus Sentamu missed from the spot.
Sentamu failed to score from the penalty mark after left back Aziz Kayondo had been brought down in the forbidden area.

The Kitende outfit who came into this contest after a disappointing 3-2 home defeat to Mbarara City held on to their six straight away victory.
Victory also saw them complete a league double over Bright Stars as well as keeping their title hopes alive.
Vipers are now second with 56 points in 26 games and two adrift of leaders Express FC who cruised to a 4-0 win over Kitara FC.

Vipers will next host SC Villa in the first leg of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Wednesday, 26th May at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Bright Stars who were eliminated by Police FC in the Uganda Cup round of 16 tie will return to action on 15th June with a league game against the same opponents.
