Defending champions West Nile host inaugural winners Buganda at Luo grounds in Nebbi as the first leg quarter finals of the FUFA Drum tournament climax.
In 2018 Buganda Province defeated West Nile 2-1 in a two legged final to be crowned champions.
Viane Ssekajugo scored both goals while West Nile’s goal was scored by Villa Oromchan.
The last edition it was a two legged final West Nile defeated Lango 3-2 to be crowned champions of the third edition.
Ssekajugo the Buganda Province captain promises the best from West Nile despite anticipating a tough tie,
“Our target in Nebbi is maximum points, our technical team is ready to give us the best tactics as we target achieving our goal.”
“All I can promise to our dear fans is the best this is a knock out stage that requires no mistake.” Ssekajugo said.
The second game will be played Busoga Province and Tooro Province at St Joseph Technical Institute Kamuli.
