Vipers SC beat Kenya’s Police FC 2-0 in the friendly game that was held on Vipers Day at St.Mary’s Stadium on Saturday night.
The inaugural Vipers Day Included a series of activities such as feasting, entertainment, a match between club legends and fans before climaxing with the international friendly game.
New recruits Kenneth Kimera and Augsto Mulongo netted in either half for the Venoms.
Kimera who joined Vipers from Wakiso Giants this transfer window gave the hosts an early lead after being fed by Allan Okello.
Mulongo put the seal on Vipers victory in added time with returning Nicholas Wadada providing the assist.

The Visitors also had numerous scoring chances and forced goalkeeper Jack Komakech into several saves.
Before the friendly game, there was an exhibition game between Club Legends and Fans with the Fans cruising to 2-1.
Former Vipers SC players Godwin Buule, Ismail Kazibwe, William Kizito Luwaga, Ssali Baino, Farouk Miya, Tony Odur, Owen Kasule, Mike Sulaiman Mutyaba, Yuda Mugalu, Godfrey Walusimbi were the notable players that featured in the game.
Yuda Mugalu scored for the Legends’ on the day that saw comprised with lots of entertainment.
Top Ugandan artistes Fik Gazza, Ykee Benda, Azawi, Gravity Omutujju, and Dr Jose Chameleone entertained the fans.


Meanwhile, Vipers SC share holder Harunah Kyobe and former club head coach Richard Makumbi were both recognized and rewarded by the club President Dr Lawrence Mulindwa.
