BUL FC sign Yafesi Mubiru as Kitata’s direct replacement

BUL FC have signed striker Yafesi Mubiru from Rwanda’s Sunrise FC on a two year contract, Swift Sports has learnt.

Mubiru has been acquired as a direct replacement for Alex Kitata who will be joining Ethiopian side Sehul Shire FC as earlier reported by this website.

Mubiru has spent four years in Rwanda with Sunrise FC and emerged as the Rwanda Premier League joint top scorer in the 2021 season with 10 goals.

He was also the second leading league scorer with 14 goals during the 2022/23 season.

Prior to his move to Rwanda in 2020, Mubiru featured for Express FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Onduparaka FC and Tooro United.

He now becomes the 7th signing made by BUL FC in this ongoing primary transfer window.

Other new signings are; Bakali Magumba, Dickson Matama, Isaac Wagoina, Najib Fesali, Thomas Ochungo and midfielder Isaac Musiima.
