Former Express midfielder Hussein Ssenoga set to join Kenyan giants

Former Express FC midfielder Hussein Ssenoga is set to join Kenya Premier League giants AFC Leopards, Swift Sports understands.

Ssenoga is currently training with Leopards who are in preparation for the upcoming 2024/25 Kenya Premier League season.

Ssenoga is a free agent having left Express FC last month when his contract officially expired.

He is a former player of Free Stars FC, Kyebando United as well as Uganda Christian University in the University Football League.

Ssenoga is seeking for a new adventure having proved to be one of the best central midfielders in the Uganda Premier League during the two years he spent at Express FC.

In case he completes his move to AFC Leopards, he will join the long list of Ugandan players playing their trade in the Kenya Premier League.

Left back George Kaddu and offensive midfielder Boban Bogere Zirintusa recently concluded their move to Tusker FC as revealed by this website.

AFC Leopards are 12-time Kenya Premier League champions but have endured a 26 year trophy drought since 1998.

The Ingwe will be hoping to compete for the bigger things next season after finishing 5th on the league table last season.
