Soltilo Bright Stars powered 2-0 past Onduparaka on match-day nine of the FUFA Big League on Sunday, 23rd November.

Mansoor Safi and Captain Sharif Nsereko scored in either half for Soltilo Bright Stars who cruised to maximum points over the Arua based side.

Nsereko fed Mansoor for Bright Stars opener in the 35th minute of the contest.

At the hour mark, Bright Stars were awarded a penalty after Mansoor was fouled in the forbidden area.

Nsereko was entrusted with the responsibility and calmly slotted in the second for the home side.

Bright Stars held on and are now on 14 points they have garnered after nine games.

In Mbale, Kataka FC needed a comeback win to edge Paidha Black Angels 2-1 on Sunday.

Paidha Black Angels new head coach Mark Twinamatsiko and left back Yoacel Raymond were both sent off in the game played at Mbale Stadium.

Angua Manisuru had given the visitors the lead in the first half before Saul Bukoma and Ali Ssentamu scored for Kataka in second period.

Manisuru gave Paidha Black Angels the lead at the stroke of halftime but the home side levelled matters at the hour mark.

Following the equalizer, Twinamatsiko was shown marching orders for protesting.

Moments later, Ssentamu completed the comeback in the 65th minute of the game.

Paidha Black Angels Left back Yoacel who had earlier been shown yellow was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 88th minute.

Kataka remain unbeaten at home and are now on 13 points while Paidha who have managed just two wins in eight matches, losing three, drawing as many and were docked two points are on seven points.

Leaders Blacks Power played out to a goalless stalemate with second placed Wakiso Giants at Nakivubo on Sunday. The point takes Blacks Power to 19 points while Wakiso Giants are on 15 points.
