Kigezi HomeBoyz registered a hard fought 2-1 victory over Nebbi Central to go top of the FUFA Big League table.
Prior to this game, Kigezi HomeBoyz were second on the table with 39 points, tied with leaders Blacks Power.
In a game played at Kigezi Al Madina Stadium, Henry Kitegenyi and Dominic Abong scored each for Sadick Ssempigi’s coached side, goals that gave them all the three points. Nebbi Central’s goal was scored by Fred Wasayo
Victory takes Kigezi HomeBoyz FC to the top of the table with 42 points, three above second placed Blacks Power FC.
Nebbi Central FC occupy eighth position with 28 points from the 22 games so far played.
Both teams will play their next games on Sunday, 12th April.
Kigezi HomeBoyz will be away in Nwoya to play Young Elephants FC.
Nebbi Central FC will host Bunyaruguru United at Luo grounds in Nebbi.
