Two time Buganda Masaza Cup champions Ssingo have named their squad for the 2026 prestigious competition.
Ssingo are under the stewardship of Emmy Kisakye who replaced Bastu Ssemuyaba at the helms of the 2015 and 2018 Masaza winners.
Ssingo were losing finalists of the competition last year having suffered a 1-0 defeat to their neighbors Buweekula in the final that held at Nakivubo for the first time since 2013.
Kisakye has previously worked at Edgars Youth Programme, Bugisu United, Mbale Garage FC, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga, Kajjansi United, KJT, Ssingo Ssaza, Theresa FC and FUFA Big League entity Kiyinda Boys among others.
At Ssingo, Kisakye will be assisted by Micheal Bukenya and Ssembatya Godfrey who will serve in the capacity of first and second assistants. Ssempijja Joseph is the goalkeeping coach while Mutumba Hamza will be the team doctor.
Ssingo are seeking for their first title since the 2018 when they overcame Buddu during Shafiq Bisaso’s reign. The other triumph also came under the stewardship of Bisaso in 2015.
Ssingo has reached six finals, winning only two and lost four (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2025).
Ssingo are in Muganzirwazza Group alongside Kabula, Kooki, Mawogola, Butambala, and Bugerere.
