CFK Badminton Academy will stage the first ever Badminton Festival on 4th July at their home located in Kisaasi.
The CFK Badminton Festival was officially launched on Monday, 22nd June at the event that was graced by the District Governor Christine Kyeyune Kawooya.
After the Festival, the Academy will also join the rest of the world to celebrate the World Badminton Day due on July 5th 2026.
Freddieh Kirabo the founder and head coach of the CFK Academy revealed that the event is free of charge and will attract lot of entertainment.
“We are going to have lots of entertainment, we are to show all the trophies we have won since the inception of the Academy. We are to teach about the game of Badminton and we are to join the rest of the world in celebration of the World Badminton day. The event is free of charge and we expect many people to be part of the celebrations. “ Said Kirabo

The guest of honor, Christine Kyeyune Kawooya hailed the academy for being supportive towards the game of Badminton and also urged everyone to come and grace the event.
“I am humbled to launch the CFK Badminton Festival, I delighted that I have found many youngsters at the facility. It great to see youths that could be involved in crimes here learning more about the game of badminton, it also helps them have a better health. We are to be part of the festival as well as the World Badminton day and I also urge everyone to come and be part of the event.” She noted



The festival is under the theme Racket and Rythm. The Academy thrives in the power of teamwork and excellence.

For starters, CFK Badminton Academy is located at a facility that comprises of three badminton courts, offices and canteen.
