Tanzania Women’s Premier League side Yanga Princesses have announced the signing of Ugandan left back Sumaya Komuntale.
Komuntale joins Yanga Princesses on a two year contract from FUFA Women Super League side She Corporate FC.
The roving left back joined She Corporate in the mid-season transfer window as a free agent from Kampala Queens.
Komuntale, who previously played for Tooro Queens, spent four seasons at Kampala and before her departure was confirmed early this year.
She brings a wealth of experience with her having previously played for the National U17 and U20 Teams as well as Senior Team, The Crested Cranes.
Komuntale transfer leads an influx that will see more Ugandan players unveiled by the Dar es Salaam based club.
Joan Nabirye, Resty Kobusobozi and goalkeeper Molly Naava are the other Ugandans who have been in the Yanga Princesses consideration.
