The Group stage of the CAF Champions league has been conducted on Friday, 6th October in Johannesburg, South Africa.
South Africa Giants and 2016 winners Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn in Group A alongside five time winners TP Mazembe, Egypt’s Pyramids FC and debutants Nouadhibou of Mauritania.
Vipers SC tormentors Jwaneng Galaxy (Botswana) are in Group B alongside Tanzania’s Simba SC, Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas who ended their five year wait without making it to the group stage and Wydad AC (Morocco).
Khalid Aucho’s Young Africans (Tanzania) are in Group D alongside holders Al Ahly (Egypt), CR Belouizdad ( Algeria) and Medeama (Ghana)
