Pressure paid off in the 34th minute when Ambrose gave Sc Villa the lead heading in a superb cross from Godfrey Lwesibawa, going into half time 1-0.

Sc Villa began the second half on the front foot and in the 47th minute Allan Kyambadde doubled their advantage by flashing the ball into the net. Sc Villa tactician made changes with Abel Eturude, Ajab Bogere and Godfrey Lwesibawa paving way for Mahad Yaya, Alex Kitata and Martin Kizza respectively.

Having made the triple substitution Sc Villa continued to dominate the game but couldn’t find the third of the evening and by the final whistle goals from Ambrose Kirya and Allan Kyambadde were enough to seal victory for the home side.

This is the third consecutive home win for the record champions and are yet to concede a goal at Masaka recreation grounds this season. The win now puts them on 8points only three below leaders Police Fc.

Sc Villa will return to action on Wednesday as they visit Prisons side Maroons Fc at Luzira.
